Our mission is to build a community that supports each pet owner and their care of pets so that it will no longer be a challenge. How Are McLovin’s Pet Food Recipes Formulated?

Our foods are sourced with natural freeze-drying techniques which are the most nutritional preserving methods from beginning to end by farmers, ranchers, and fishermen we know and trust within North America and New Zealand. Every nibble mimics the raw diets pets would want to eat in the wild and is guaranteed with essential vitamins they need for maximum vitality. We take a non-chemical approach to our food processes. There are no hormones, preservatives, or anything artificial in our products; it’s all about real food in our food!

Does McLovin’s Pet Meals Contain Fillers Like Corn, Wheat, Or Soy?

All of our meals for dogs and cats are made from ingredients that do not contain gluten, corn, wheat, or soy.

Does McLovin’s Pet Food Contain Artificial Preservatives, Ingredients, Or Colors?

Our grain-free pet meals have no fillers, gluten, artificial flavors, or preservatives. There are no hormones, preservatives or anything artificial in our meals, it's all about real ingredients in our food!

How Are Your Ingredients Sourced?

All of our food ingredients are responsibly sourced in North America or New Zealand.

How Should I Store My McLovin’s Pet Food Products?

Our food products have around a two- year shelf life if they are not opened. Otherwise, 60 days after opening if kept in a cool, dry place.  No refrigeration is necessary.

How Do You Measure The Brand’s Practice On Sustainability?

Everything we make is sourced from the heart with the environment in mind. Our food products feature recyclable packaging materials that are blended to use less paper and color to fill more well-rounded food for your fur babies and our accessory products are made of non-toxic materials so your pets can play on.  We also hire local suppliers to save on shipping/gas consumption to keep our eco-footprint down. McLovin’s Pet believes in the smallest environmental impact possible as we all share in this earth together.

How Does McLovin’s Ensures Quality And Safety?

All of our products are from SQF certificated facility. The SQF program is a globally-recognized food safety and quality certification program based on sound scientific principles. Our products have been verified and validated through their principles and safety measures to ensure pet parents and fur babies are protected.


Is McLovin’s Pet freeze-Dried Food Right For My Pet?

McLovin’s Pet recipes are designed to meet the needs for dogs and soon to be cats of all ages, regardless of size or breed. We take special care to formulate a holistic diet that provides total nutrition gentle enough for sensitive and allergic dogs and/or cats, while still satisfying athletic breeds. Our support team is happy to answer any questions you may have, and we also encourage you to check with your veterinarian should you have specific concerns. 

How Do I Properly Transition My Pet to The New Diet?

Every pet is different, so transition times vary. To avoid any surprises, we recommend mixing McLovin’s Pet food in gradually, increasing the amount over a one-week period, which helps your pet’s digestive tract adapt to new ingredients. 

What Are Your Feeding Tips For Meals?

At feeding time, McLovin’s Pet products must always be raw. Never cook, microwave, or heat them. Serve as is or hydrate using cool or warm (never hot) water. Our mindfully suggested food to water ratio is 1 to 2. High Paws!


What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, etc. 

I forgot My Password. How Do I Reset It?

You can click the “I Forgot My Password” link by visiting the sign in page, then you’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

How Can I Check The Status Of My Order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email notification with a link to order tracking details. Occasionally, the carrier takes up to 1-2 business days to provide tracking info once your order ships.

How Do I Cancel My Order?

We do not accommodate cancellations after the shipment has been proceeded. If you would cancel immediately after placing an order, we manually handle the request on a case by case basis. Please reach out to to share your request. 


How Does Your Subscription Program Work?

Sign up for a subscription and save 20% off every food order + free shipping on all orders over $75. Our flexible subscriptions allow us to deliver on your pet’s eating schedule so you never have to make a last-minute food run again. Easily skip a delivery anytime.

And if needed, we make it easy to cancel anytime from your account page.

When Will I Be Billed?

For subscription orders, billing occurs 2-business days prior to the ‘ship’ cadence that you selected. Once your preferred payment method is charged, our fulfillment staff gets to work processing the order and your dog should receive it between 2-4 business days. 

If you need to make any updates to your upcoming shipment, please log into your account at least two business days ahead of your shipping date to save your changes.

How Do I Make Changes To My Subscriptions?

From your account page, you can change your shipping addresses, payment info, shipping frequency, or edit the amount or type of food.

How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

From your account page, you can pause, skip orders or cancel your subscription at any time.


When Do You Ship?

We offer free shipping on orders of $75 or above. We ship out orders the same day by 2pm PST any business day. For orders coming in after 2pm PST or over weekends, we send out the shipment the following business day.

When Will I Receive My Orders?

Once processed, orders typically take 2-4 business days in transit, depending on your distance from our warehouse in California. If you’re in a rush, we also offer expedited 1-2 business day shipping for a small variable rate based on weight.

What Is Your Return Policy?

If for any reason, you or your pet is not happy with your food product, we will make it right and give you a full refund. For any questions on our refund policy, please email us at

Please note, if you've made multiple orders of the same product, we are only able to refund the last order purchased. We are unable to accept returns due to quality control procedures so we ask that you please donate your McLovin’s Pet products to a shelter or dispose of them.

Any unused or unworn non-food products can be exchanged within 14 days - follow this link.

Food products can not be exchanged due to quality control procedures. However, we are happy to refund or provide store credits if you or your pet is not happy with your food product. We ask that you please donate your McLovin’s products to a shelter or dispose of them.
