Our freeze-dried pet food products have around a two-year shelf life if they are not opened. Once opened, store in a cool, dry place and use within 60 days for optimal freshness. No refrigeration is necessary. Always reseal the bag tightly after each use to maintain quality.

How to transition your dog or cat to freeze-dried food?
Every pet is different, so transition times vary. To avoid any surprises, we recommend mixing McLovin's Pet food in gradually over a one-week period: start with 25% new food and 75% old food, then increase the ratio every 2 days. What are the best feeding tips for freeze-dried pet meals?
At feeding time, McLovin's Pet products must always be served raw — never cook, microwave, or heat them. Serve as-is or hydrate using cool or warm (never hot) water. Sign up for a subscription and save 20% off every food order plus free shipping on all orders over $75. Our flexible subscriptions allow us to deliver on your pet's eating schedule so you never have to worry about running out of freeze-dried dog food or treats. You can adjust frequency, skip orders, or cancel anytime from your account page.
When will I be billed for my subscription?
For subscription orders, billing occurs 2 business days prior to the ship cadence that you selected. Once your preferred payment method is charged, our fulfillment staff gets to work processing the order. You'll receive a confirmation email each time.
How do I make changes to my subscription?
From your account page, you can change your shipping addresses, payment info, shipping frequency, or edit the amount or type of food. If you have any trouble, our team is here to help at info@mclovinspet.com.
How do I cancel my McLovin's Pet subscription?
From your account page, you can pause, skip orders, or cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments. If you need assistance, contact us at info@mclovinspet.com.
Shipping
When does McLovin's Pet ship orders?
We offer free shipping on orders of $75 or above. We ship out orders the same day by 2pm PST any business day. For orders coming in after 2pm PST or over weekends, we send out the shipment the following business day from our California warehouse.
How long does McLovin's Pet shipping take?
Once processed, orders typically take 2-4 business days in transit, depending on your distance from our warehouse in California. If you're in a rush, we also offer expedited 1-2 business day shipping for an additional fee.
Does McLovin's Pet ship to PO boxes?
Unfortunately, we do not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please provide a physical shipping address when placing your order.
How can I change my shipping address?
If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please email info@mclovinspet.com as soon as possible. If the order hasn't shipped yet, we can update the address for you.
Does McLovin's Pet offer international shipping?
Unfortunately, we don't offer international shipping right now. But we plan to enable it in the near future. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when international shipping becomes available.
Return & Refund
What is McLovin's Pet return and refund policy?
If for any reason, you or your pet is not happy with your food product, we will make it right and give you a full refund. For any questions on our refund policy, please email us at info@mclovinspet.com. Non-food products can be returned within 30 days of purchase in unused condition. See our full refund policy.
How do I make an exchange with McLovin's Pet?
Any unused or unworn non-food products can be exchanged within 14 days. Food products cannot be exchanged due to quality control procedures. However, we are happy to refund or provide store credit. Contact us at info@mclovinspet.com to start the process.
